Delivery details

VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Your Sauces will be sent via overnight courier

Please give us a date that you will be in for delivery as they require a signature

(bear in mind that our courier doesn't pick up or drop off on a weekend or a bank holiday)

Delivery Days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

If its a bank holiday our courier can't pick up on a bank holiday Monday so please make your delivery a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.

Please allow a few days from ordering to allow us to cook your sauces.

We cook every Wednesday so shipping on a Thursday to arrive to you on a Friday is preferable or the following week.

WHAT IS THE COST OF DELIVERY?

Since these are chilled products they need to be sent via overnight courier.

It actually costs me over £12 to do this so if you order 5 or more I will take on most of this cost and only charge £3.95.

Unfortunately I do have to charge the full £12 for orders of 4 or less.

DO I NEED TO BE IN FOR DELIVERY?

Yes!!!  they need to be signed for.

However you will get a delivery slot from the courier with an hour long window for delivery.

If you are not in they may not  leave it in a porch or on the doorstep. You must be in or the parcel could be returned to the depot and the sauces may spoil.

Unfortunately The Sauce Queen cannot accept any responsibility for the sauces if the driver attempts to deliver them but there is no one to sign for them.

Is your parcel Damaged?

Please check that the package is not damaged before signing for your delivery.

If your parcel is damaged and you are able please take a picture for evidence prior to opening to check the goods are still intact. If the goods have been damaged also do not sign for the shipment and refuse delivery.

The parcel will be perfectly intact upon leaving, so it is the fault of the courier if it is damaged in anyway. Once you have signed for the parcel the courier is no longer liable for the damage incurred and we cannot claim back any costs.  All parcels are taped using fragile tape and should be treated as such.
